Considered to be one of the best places in the country when cities are ranked for their quality of life, Tulsa gives the Journal Broadcast Group a unique opportunity to offer service excellence to listeners and advertisers.

With three stations, the Journal Broadcast Group - Tulsa Operations' employees offer a range of options. "Standing Up For What's Right," Talk Radio 1170 KFAQ is Tulsa's Fox News and Talk station providing fair and balanced coverage of the top local and national news. Gwen Freeman and Chris Medlock head up the morning line-up. In addition, KFAQ airs shows by national hosts like Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, John Gibson, Mark Levin, and Laura Ingraham. The award winning KFAQ 24-hour news team has won numerous awards, including several coveted Edward R. Murrow awards from the Radio-Television News Directors Association.

On the FM dial, Today's KVOO-FM 98.5, Tulsa's True Country features music by the legends and the latest in Country music. KXBL-FM is Classic Country 99.5, featuring country favorites from the 1950s to today.

Area advertisers enjoy personal attention provided by the stations' employees, including individualized marketing brainstorming sessions designed to grow their businesses. This custom approach to business creates a bond with the customers and helps the station develop even more localized programming in order to respond to the needs of Tulsa's listeners.

Beyond the music and advertising, these stations are the only in Tulsa to conduct an annual fund "radiothon." Benefiting the Tulsa Children's Medical Center, the event raises thousands of dollars annually to provide critical healthcare for children throughout the listening area.

Severe weather is another serious subject to the people of Oklahoma. The Journal Broadcast Group stations in Tulsa have earned a reputation for aggressively covering threatening storms moving through the area. The well-respected KFAQ/KVOO news team works diligently to keep their listeners informed and safe when severe weather approaches.
