Willie has worked for Journal Broadcast Group for eight years. He moved to Las Vegas from the company's Milwaukee TV station in 2000.  In 2004 he transferred to WGBA-TV in Green Bay, WI.  Then in 2009 he transferred to KMTV in Omaha, Neb.

"I think the biggest reason I like the company is that we're growing. We've covered the Midwest and West Coast. I also think that Journal Broadcast Group is the best when it comes to pushing diversity. I used to think diversity was just a race or ethnic thing, but it really ranges from age to lifestyle to language."

In addition to working at Journal Broadcast Group, Willie is a runningback for arena football's Nevada Falcons and Island Warriors.
