"Even on days when you don't feel your best, when you communicate with listeners, you have to BE at your best. Our clients and listeners have the same expectations of us, even when we don't feel 100 percent. It's a good way to motivate yourself to provide the people who depend on you with the best you have to offer. The biggest thrill I get is seeing young reporters and anchors start at Journal Broadcast Group – people who many not have a lot of news experience, but do have a will to learn. I've enjoyed several instances of being able to help these people grow and watch them become outstanding broadcasters."
